Job summary

Canlan Ice Sports in Illinois is seeking an Ice Maintenance Person (non-ticketed) to perform general facility upkeep and regular ice resurfacing. The role requires operating the Ice Resurfacer, janitorial duties, and basic maintenance of rink systems to keep the arena safe and ready for play.

Ideal candidates have a high school education, a valid driver's license, and experience with ice resurfacing equipment.

Qualifications

• Completed high school education or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with local building and fire codes.
• Ice Resurfacer operation.
• Ice chopping/spudding.
• Leveling the Ice.
• Ice Painting.
• Dasher Board system repair.
• Arena Glass replacement.
• Execute maintenance and repair of facility fixtures and components.
• Janitorial duties as assigned, including cleaning and floor care.
• Ensure entrances, grounds, and parking lot are kept clean and safe.
• Seasonal snow and debris removal.
• Maintain checklists and safety sign out procedures.
