Job summary

ASM Global-SMG is seeking an Ice Crew Attendant to join our team at the ShoWare Center in Kent, WA. The role involves maintaining the ice for hockey games and assisting in operational responsibilities.

The ideal candidate should be able to lift heavy weights and communicate effectively in English. Responsibilities include operating the Zamboni, preparing the ice, and ensuring compliance with safety standards during various events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift.
• Must communicate in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ice is prepared and maintained to NHL standards.
• Operate Zamboni safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and remove the ice at the beginning and end of the hockey season.
• Assist with event setup and takedown.
• Follow safety codes, policies, and procedures.

Skills

Ability to lift 80 lbs or more

Communication in English (written and verbal)
