Job summary

Sundae Ice Cream is seeking a Store Manager in Colorado to lead a tight-knit team of 8-15 in a fast-paced, high-volume ice cream shop. You will mentor staff, ensure SOP execution, and maintain exceptional service while upholding health and safety standards.

You will recruit, train, and evaluate employees, manage scheduling and payroll, and collaborate with production to ensure product quality. The role offers growth opportunities, mentorship, and a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of high-volume foodservice management, team leadership experience or equivalent required.
• 2+ year of foodservice experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Valid Food Safety Manager certificate or equivalent (may be obtained within 60 days of hire date).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8-15 staff by demonstrating exemplary customer service and SOP execution.
• Uphold Sundae's standards with focus on customer satisfaction and employee retention.
• Develop direct reports through regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire, train and retain talented employees.
• Provide regular feedback and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Be available for on-call and emergency coverage as needed.
• Manage inventory by placing vendor orders and tracking transfers.
• Oversee production of waffles, toppings, and sauces to meet volume demands.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and store appearance.
• Monitor seasonal sales trends and staff for labor cost metrics.
• Ensure food safety compliance per local/state health departments and HACCP if required.
• Engage with the local community and collaborate with Production Manager for cohesive operations.
• Participate in staff, management, and leadership meetings and manage admin tasks like deposits and payroll.
