Job summary

Sweet Cow Ice Cream is seeking a Shift Lead in Boulder to guide a friendly team in a fast-paced ice cream shop. You’ll coach, support, and inspire crew while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include managing shift flow, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency, handling POS transactions, and fostering a positive, energetic shop atmosphere that reflects our community values.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the full shift.
• Can work at least 3 shifts per week (15+ hrs) with open availability.
• Six months of experience delegating and coordinating two or more employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead your shift – coach, support, and inspire your team as we scoop, serve & engage with customers.
• Keep the shop on point – delegate to uphold standards for cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
• Be a team coach – lead by example, and maintain positive momentum.
• Oversee transactions – ensure smooth, accurate POS and cash handling.
• Be the vibe – create and foster a fun, memorable experience for customers and crew.
• Problem-solve and communicate – support your team and solve real-time issues.
• Open and close the shop – take responsibility for key daily operations.
