Opal Collection is seeking an Ice Cream Shop Attendant in Florida to prepare and sell ice cream drinks and provide world-class service in our Signature Ice Cream Shop. This full-time hospitality role focuses on delivering a friendly guest experience and handling transactions efficiently.

You will greet guests, scoop ice cream, operate the POS, maintain cleanliness, and ensure inventory is well stocked. The position requires standing long hours and occasional lifting up to 25–30 pounds; benefits

• Greet guests warmly, offer samples, answer menu questions, and provide a friendly experience.
• Accurately scoop ice cream, build sundaes, pour milkshakes, and prepare cones or bowls.
• Operate the POS system, process payments, and provide correct change.
• Wipe counters, clean tables, wash utensils, and restock napkins, spoons, and toppings.
• Keep display freezers, flavor tubs, and ingredients full and organized.
• Stand for long shifts and lift up to 25–30 pounds.

Responsibilities for the Ice Cream Shop Attendant:

• Greet guests warmly, offer samples, answer menu questions, and provide a friendly experience.
• Accurately scoop ice cream, build sundaes, pour milkshakes, and prepare cones or bowls.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process cash or card payments, and provide correct change.
• Wipe down counters, clean tables, wash utensils, and restock supplies like napkins, spoons, and toppings.
• Keep display freezers, flavor tubs, and ingredients full and organized.
• Must have a positive, outgoing personality and patience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25–30 pounds.

• Receive and process payments once placingcustomer food and beverage orders through POS
• Order, receive, stock supplies and retail products.
• Answering customers' questions about menu choices
• Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
• Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs
• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
• Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
• Observe relevant health and safety standards
• Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
• Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
• Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management or supervisors and moves with a sense of urgency.
• Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program and reports any accidents to management.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Staff Member Handbook.
