Job summary

Clementine's Ice Cream in Prairie Village is seeking Ice Cream Scoopers (Purveyors of Yum) to create magical experiences for guests. You will scoop and serve ice cream, assist in selecting flavors, and ensure the parlor remains clean and well-stocked.

Ideal candidates will have customer service experience, flexible schedules, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include processing sales, engaging customers, and maintaining store operations.

Job Overview

Our Ice Cream Scoopers (Purveyor of Yum) create magical and memorable moments for all guests. Responsible for creating a positive guest experience by greeting guests, assisting with selection of handcrafted flavors and/or curated merchandise, answering questions, processing sales, and maintaining parlors.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Scoop, serve and engage guests by greeting guests, answering inquiries about our decadent flavors and offering personalized recommendations. Provide consistent and correct scoop sizes.
• Sales & Transactions: Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale (POS) system. Promote sales, loyalty programs, and upselling techniques.
• Store Operations: Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, set up displays, maintain cleanliness, and perform inventory tasks such as receiving shipments.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and well-stocked.
• Loss Prevention: Follow safe work practices and security policies to prevent theft.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or food service preferred.
