Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is seeking part-time Scoopers for our Hudson Yards store in Manhattan, NY. You will greet guests, scoop and serve items, and educate customers about flavors while maintaining high standards of hospitality and food safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Genuine passion for ice cream and desserts.
• Dexterity to prepare and serve all menu items.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Walk stairs regularly.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work 3 days a week, including nights and weekends past 12 am.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Food handlers certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and hospitality.
• Scoop and serve all menu items while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Educate guests on flavors, ingredients and offerings.
• Prepare fresh, house-made menu items daily.
• Operate Square POS system for checkout.
• Follow food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock daily tasks.
• Follow safety, grooming, and conduct standards.
