Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) seeks an Associate Scientist for the North America Ice Cream Research, Design & Innovation (RD&I) team in the United States. You will support technical deliverables across innovation, renovation, quality improvement and cost optimization projects, turning briefs into consumer-relevant products through bench development and pilot plant work.

Qualifications

• BS in Food Science or related field.
• 1+ year of product development experience (internships ok).
• Experience with FDA regulations, GMPs and GLPs.

Responsibilities

• Support regional innovation, renovation, quality improvement and cost optimization projects.
• Lead bench-top development and optimization based on briefs.
• Screen and validate ingredients and suppliers; recommend next steps based on analyses.
• Plan and execute pilot plant trials, sample prep, testing and sensory evaluations.
• Manage ingredients and samples including inventory, ordering, logistics and disposal.
• Lead specification creation in SAP PLM from request to approved status.
• Participate in factory trials and support outsourced product launches.
