Job summary

Taleo in Idaho is seeking an Ice Cream Production Quality Technician to ensure products meet quality standards and food safety regulations. You will monitor production, perform in-process and finished product testing, and support continuous improvement to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 1–3 years in dairy or ice cream production, knowledge of HACCP and SQF, strong data entry skills, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, SQF).
• Proficiency in quality testing methods and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine sampling and testing of ice cream during production and packaging.
• Verify HACCP, SQF, FDA compliance with quality standards.
• Document results and initiate corrective actions for deviations.
• Monitor critical control points in mixing, freezing, filling and packaging.
• Assist production in hygiene, sanitation and QA SOPs.
• Support pilot-scale trials and new product introductions with R&D.
• Maintain records of inspections, calibrations and audits.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals and finished goods.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with QA and production to implement best practices.
