Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a Front-Line Manager to oversee production and warehousing activities for a team of about 25 on shift, driving safety, quality, productivity and morale while delivering on production schedules. You will coach and develop staff, address problems, manage projects end-to-end, apply GMP and SPC standards, and collaborate with SAP and warehouse teams.

A two-year supervisory background in manufacturing is required; Six Sigma/Lean experience is preferred; this is a

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/lead experience in manufacturing; food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in production and materials management required.
• Preferred Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement background.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate autonomous teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in a matrix environment.
• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive current and future manufacturing performance in Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Delivery and Morale.
• Oversee activities of the site.
• Communicate, investigate and address problems to improve site performance.
• Develop shift employees through training, coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Supervise manufacture of quality products meeting GMP, SPC, and specs.
• Review staffing needs to achieve production schedules.
• Maintain safe work environment with standards and action plans.
• Prepare and analyze manufacturing reports on quality, efficiency, waste and attainment.
• Enforce company policies and practices.
• Improve process quality through innovation and methods improvement.
• Plan and execute plant trials for new product innovations.
• Be an active Hab Hazmat team member as required.
