Job summary

Wells Enterprises in Le Mars, Iowa is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support operations by maintaining assets through preventative, pro-active, and reactive maintenance. Responsibilities include completing work orders, documenting daily work, and providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and preferably 1 year of experience in an ice cream plant. Starting pay is $34.38/hr with potential increases and additional night shift compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Associates or Bachelors relevant degree preferred.
• Successfully complete pre-employment hands-on assessment.
• Successfully complete on-boarding training program and Technician 1 Skills Progression Program.
• Preferably possess 1 year of ice cream plant experience.
• Base knowledge of maintenance.
• Follows written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders as assigned.
• Supports operations by responding efficiently to business needs calls.
• Completing documentation of daily work required in EAM, RCA, and daily logs.
• Provides professional and courteous customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Interacts in a professional and courteous manner with all internal support groups to work together to problem solve.
