No prior experience required; must be 18+, with roles available as full-time or part-time. This on-site position offers a starting pay of $14 per hour, plus opportunities for advancement and a flexible schedule.

Overview

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream is coming to Nampa, ID! Are you interested in Sweetening the Lives of Our Team and Our Guests? Join our amazing team as a day-time Ice Cream Maker, where your passion for quality and attention to detail will create delicious, high-quality ice cream, using process and recipes that have been tested and perfected over the last 80 years! In this role, you will be responsible for producing ice cream while ensuring all processes meet strict food safety standards and maintain consistent brand standards. Food preparation experience is ideal. but not necessary.

Duties

• Prepare and mix ingredients according to detailed production recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Determine batches of ice cream to be made based on sales projections and product on hand.
• Maintain cleanliness by keeping up with dishes and promote food safety by conducting sanitation procedures regularly to maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas in accordance with sanitation standards

Skills

• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and recording data accurately
• Effective internal communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
• Ability to work independently and with a fellow team member, depending on the need.
• Commitment to following standards and recipes.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age. Full-time or Part-time is available.
