Machine Operator

Location: Sikeston, MO

Pay Range: $26.02 Per Hour – Paid Bi-Weekly

Note: This position requires flexibility within shift patterns, particularly during the evening and overnight hours. Must be able to work any day of the week and adapt to schedule changes based on business needs.

JOB PURPOSE:

Lead innovations and drive business growth as a Machine Operator. Operate equipment efficiently to meet quality standards, minimize waste, and ensure safety. Perform cleaning, inspections, and record issues for technical resolution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and adjust machines according to specifications, sanitize lines, and assemble necessary parts.
• Follow GMP and quality procedures, monitor product specifications, and maintain cleanliness.
• Detect and resolve minor equipment issues, communicate with maintenance, and participate in preventive maintenance.
• Oversee operations at the workstation, collaborate with team members, and report problems.
• Participate in TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as needed, including moving supplies and covering roles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through experience or technical courses.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Includes office, mix room, and manufacturing floor. Potential hazards involve moving machinery, chemicals, and heavy lifting. PPE required includes safety glasses, hearing protection, and sanitary footwear. Exposure to allergens and chemicals such as ammonia is possible.
