Description

Prinsco in Bethany, MO, has an opening for a Machine Operator/Helper. This position offers a $500 sign-on bonus and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k with company match. The starting hourly wage is $18.25, with a $2 shift differential for 2nd shift (3PM-11PM).

This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a safe manufacturing environment, including:

• Roll plastic pipe onto coiling machine, tie with twine, and transport rolls/bundles to the staging area.
• Verify that finished goods meet quality standards, reporting defects or machine issues immediately.
• Cross-train into machine operation to develop new skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or in progress, with at least three months of work experience.
• Effective communication skills; ability to understand and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds for one-third of the day, and 75 pounds for less than one-third of the day.
• Use hands and arms extensively during work.
• Stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for over two-thirds of the workday.
• Good vision at 20 feet or more, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color differentiation.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a loud environment.
