Responsibilities include ensuring proper equipment setup for novelty and bulk products, maintaining production records, and enforcing food safety protocols (HACCP, SQF, FDA).

Qualifications

• Must have High School education or equivalent.
• 2+ years in food manufacturing with leadership on a production line.
• Knowledge of ice cream or dairy production processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of production on the assigned line, including mixing, freezing, filling, and packaging.
• Monitor line performance to meet production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper setup and operation of equipment for novelty and bulk ice cream products.
• Lead and train line operators to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching as needed.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Enforce food safety protocols (HACCP, SQF, FDA) and company standards.
• Conduct in-process checks to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and warehouse teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Communicate production updates and challenges to the Plant Supervisor.
