Qualifications

• Coordinate hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of 120+ student employees.
• Assist payroll back-up for student staff and extra help.
• Program, manage, and oversee Senior Recreational Hockey League.
• Coordinate and assist in managing Intramural hockey league with staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day ice arena operations, concessions, and pro shop.
• Directly supervise ice arena events (hockey, public skates, private groups).
• Lead staff during public skates and events; ensure safety and service quality.
• Assist with facility scheduling for all ice arena activities and programs.
• Enforce risk management, emergency procedures, and customer service standards.
• Manage concession stand/café and pro shop operations and inventory.
• Back-up food safety and risk management for concession operations.
• Support special events and campus recreation programs.
• Enforce campus recreation policies and procedures; assist with reports.
