Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Leadership ability to supervise staff.
• Strong communication skills for patrons and staff.
• Problem solving and decision making.
• Knowledge of facility operations and rules is desired.
• Customer focus and relationship building with guests.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Opens, closes or works middle shifts.
• Performs shift-specific inspections of the facility.
• Monitors ice thickness and quality while resurfacing.
• Accepts rental and contract payments as needed.
• Monitors all on and off-ice activities in the building.
• Follows Oak Lawn Park District cash control procedures.
• Supervises part-time skate guard staff.
• Reports problems or potential problems to management.
• Knowledge of First Aid and CPR; enforce rules.
