Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an experienced Ice Technician Manager to oversee ice installation, maintenance, and associated operations at the Tucson Convention Center complex. You will supervise the ice team and ensure ice quality for practices and events, coordinating with engineering and operations for smooth setups.

The role requires hands-on work with ice resurfacers, ice edgers, water treatment, scheduling, safety compliance, and staff supervision on site.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from technical college with major in Management or Maintenance Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Supervising or Managing in a similar facility.
Additional experience may be substituted for education.

Responsibilities

Oversee ice installation, painting base color, lines and logos, and building the ice sheet.
Prepare ice for practices and events; remove debris; check ice depth; scrape and resurfacing.
Operate and maintain ice resurfacers and ice edger.
Repair and build ice around goals and other areas that lose ice.
Maintain glass and dasher walls; monitor temperature and humidity.
Coordinate to have Zamboni blades sharpened and pickup/delivery.
Oversee and direct employees on ice installation and maintenance.
