Gilmour Academy is seeking a reliable Custodian & Ice Arena Technician to maintain a clean, safe ice arena and support the school community. The role includes daily cleaning, ice resurfacing, and event setup across facilities.

The ideal candidate will handle maintenance tasks safely, respond to service requests promptly, and be willing to work rotating weekends in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate an ice resurfacer and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and in ice arena conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties across restrooms, locker rooms, and building areas.
• Operate ice resurfacing equipment and support ice arena maintenance.
• Respond to customer questions and service requests professionally.
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, and equipment for events.
• Monitor supplies and report needs to supervisors.
