City of Cottage Grove is seeking a dependable Part-Time Seasonal Custodian to support the cleanliness and daily operations of the Cottage Grove Ice Arena. The Custodian will perform routine custodial duties to ensure the facility is clean, safe, and presentable for guests, staff, and arena users.

Hours are 15–20 per week with a schedule Monday–Thursday and some weekend shifts; all weekday work must be completed by 3:00 p.m., and the position requires a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a flexible schedule, including mornings and occasional weekends.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Be detail-oriented and maintain a clean, safe facility.
• Ability to stand, talk, and hear regularly during duties.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be physically capable of performing all essential functions with given conditions.

The City of Cottage Grove is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Seasonal Custodian to support the cleanliness and daily operations of the Cottage Grove Ice Arena.

The Custodian is responsible for performing routine custodial duties to ensure the facility is clean, safe, and presentable for guests, staff, and arena users. This position works primarily independently under the direction of the Facility Services Manager or Recreation and Ice Arena Supervisor.

All weekday work must be completed by 3:0 p.m. The position requires a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend shifts.

Season: October 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, with some weekend shifts as needed
Hours: 15–20 hours per week
