Job summary

NV5, Inc. is seeking qualified ICC and/or CWI Inspectors to provide inspection services for projects in Southern California and Campo, CA. Responsibilities include QC/QA inspections, code interpretation, and documentation.

Candidates should have CA code familiarity and strong written/verbal skills. Field roles involve interacting with Project Managers and engineers on diverse residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Must have experience performing QC/QA inspections
• Familiar with California Building Code and related standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prepare daily inspection reports

Responsibilities

• Perform QC/QA inspections to verify construction adherence to codes and standards
• Verify construction complies with approved plans and calculations
• Read, research, and interpret code requirements
• Maintain clear inspection records and documentation
• Review complex engineering documents for compliance
• Interface with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients in meetings and site interactions
• Other duties as assigned
