Qualifications

• Must have ICC Certification and municipal experience.
• 3+ years as a Permit Technician required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs and occasionally 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support at the counter and over the phone.
• Review permit applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Calculate and collect permit fees.
• Process and issue building permits.
• Ensure all conditions of approvals are met prior to issuance.
• Assist the public with permit applications.
• Verify all necessary project approvals are obtained.
• Notify applicants when documents/permits are ready.
• Coordinate and route documents for plan review and approval.
• Help resolve resident inquiries and complaints.
