As a Permit Technician you will provide counter and phone support, review applications, calculate and collect fees, issue building permits, and ensure all conditions are met

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer support at counter or phone.
• Ability to review permit applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Experience calculating and collecting permit fees and issuing permits.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support at the counter and over the phone.
• Review permit applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Calculate and collect permit fees.
• Process and issue building permits.
• Ensure all conditions of approvals are met prior to issuance.
• Assist the public with completing permit applications.
• Verify all necessary project approvals are obtained.
• Notify applicants when documents and permits are ready.
• Coordinate and route documents for plan review and approval.
• Help resolve resident inquiries and complaints.
