Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Operations Manager 2 – ICBM Sustainment for the Clearfield, UT site. You will lead planning, execution, and continuous improvement across production operations within the ICBM Sustainment IPT, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient work with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain partners.

We require a BS in a STEM field with 8 years of experience (6 years with a Master’s), aerospace/defense experience, and the ability to obtain DoD Secret

Qualifications

• B.S. in a STEM field with 8 years of experience; 6 years with Master’s.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or similarly regulated production/sustainment.
• Familiarity with technical data packages, work instructions, drawings, specifications, or maintenance docs.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and SAP access.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of production, refurbishment, and sustainment activities.
• Coordinate with engineering labs and operating teams across IPTs.
• Align work packages with manufacturing capabilities and constraints.
• Resolve issues related to work instructions, data, tooling, and materials.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, schedule, and productivity; drive mitigation actions.
• Prepare and present production status and risks in IPT forums and customer engagements.
