Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Operations Manager 2 for the ICBM Sustainment program in Clearfield, UT. You will lead production planning, coordination with engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of sustainment work packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 8+ years of experience; 6+ years with a Master’s.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or similarly regulated production/sustainment environments.
• Familiarity with technical data packages, drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentation (e.g., T.O.s).
• Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment (Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management).
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval when required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Production Ops representative within the ICBM Sustainment IPT, supporting production, refurbishment, and sustainment activities.
• Coordinate with engineering lab managers to lead integrating operations across ICBM-S labs.
• Align program plans with manufacturing capabilities and constraints.
• Support lab and shop floor execution by resolving issues with work instructions, tooling, materials and configuration control.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, schedule adherence, labor efficiency, and productivity; identify risks and mitigations.
• Participate in RCCA for defects and nonconformances; implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to development and revision of work instructions and standard work.
• Assist in production readiness activities including planning for new or modified work, tooling, and layout changes.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain to address procurement, receiving, kitting, and staging issues.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR/MMAS requirements and company policies.
