Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in Kirkland, WA is seeking an Analog IC/Layout engineer to design and lay out mixed-signal blocks.

You will collaborate with circuit designers to meet quality, performance, and reliability requirements, and perform layout verification including DRC, LVS, and ERC. The role requires 1+ year of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC layout, familiarity with CMOS/BiCMOS tech, CAD flows, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams, including off-site teams.

Qualifications

  • AA degree in engineering or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years experience in analog/mixed-signal IC layout.
  • Understanding of design rules, device matching, shielding, isolation.
  • Familiar with CMOS and BiCMOS technology and IC design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Layout custom mixed-signal and analog circuit blocks.
  • Collaborate with circuit designers to meet quality, performance, reliability requirements.
  • Perform layout verification checks including DRC, LVS and ERC verifications.
  • Support off-site design and layout team and coordinate with other teams outside USA.
  • Keep track of assigned design tasks to meet project schedules and deliverable requirements.
