Job summary

Reworld in Camden, NJ is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain and repair our industrial electrical and control systems. You will work with a small team to diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation of power plant equipment ranging from 120V to 13.8kV.

You will handle switchgear, transformers, high/low voltage systems, boilers, turbines, and CEMS instrumentation, with a strong emphasis on safety andReliability.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have experience maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial settings.
• Ability to diagnose and repair power plant equipment and related control systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and testing of low/medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters and transformers.
• Maintenance of high voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine generators.
• Electrical work related to energy-from-waste boilers and associated equipment (fans, motors, cranes).
• Electrical maintenance for energy-from-waste air pollution control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair CEMS and plant instrumentation (flow, temp, level, etc.).
