Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is offering an internship conversion position in the Sensors and Systems Department. The selected candidate will work full-time, on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA.

You will collaborate with engineers to design and build prototypes, provide electrical design support, and design digital circuits, perform hardware debug and testing, and support operations for newly delivered instruments. Training and mentorship will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related discipline (pursuing or conferred within last 12 months)
• Prior internship at The Aerospace Corporation
• 0-1 year of industry work experience
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Experience testing electronics in a lab with oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Knowledge of basic electronic circuit concepts and theory
• Familiarity with basic programming concepts
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Transcripts may be required

Internship conversion position for the Sensors and Systems Department. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA.

What You’ll Be Doing
