Job summary

State Street seeks a Senior Business Analyst to advance Alpha’s data services platform. You will partner with business, product, and technology teams to define requirements, create integration solutions, and drive delivery of scalable data capabilities.

Responsibilities include designing data mappings, guiding implementation, and ensuring production readiness while promoting governance and data quality across enterprise data domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 7+ years of financial services experience preferred.
• Experience with IBOR/ABOR, security master, positions, transactions, reference data, or related investment data domains.
• Strong analytical and data mapping skills for enterprise data integration solutions.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, EDM, ETL tools, and data transformation frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate across Product, Development, Architecture, Operations, and Data Management functions.
• Proven ability to manage concurrent initiatives and deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and deploy strategic data integrations into the Alpha Ecosystem (IBOR, ABOR, and related data domains).
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Development, and Data Management teams to define requirements and delivery plans.
• Analyze current and target-state data operating models to identify opportunities for standardization and automation.
• Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements, translating them into integration use cases and flows.
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on the Alpha Data Platform and integration frameworks.
• Document data mappings between source systems, Alpha Data Platform, and downstream consumers.
• Define data transformation, enrichment, derivation, and workflow requirements for enterprise data capabilities.
• Collaborate to design scalable, reusable, and production-ready integration solutions.
• Participate in functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
