Job summary

A technology firm is seeking a Mid-Senior level IBM Watson/Chatbot Developer to create innovative chatbot solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software delivery, chatbot development with IBM Watson, and a strong background in conversational AI. Knowledge of cloud principles and backend development in Java, Node.js, or Python is required. This position is contract-based and operates in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Primary Skill Set: IBM Watson

Secondary Skill Set: Chatbot conversational AI tools (e.g., Google Dialogflow CX, LivePerson, Amazon Lex, Kore.ai)

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years software delivery experience
• 3+ years of Chatbot development experience with IBM Watson Assistant or other similar chatbot conversational AI tool (e.g., Google Dialogflow CX, LivePerson, Amazon Lex, Kore.ai)
• 3+ years of training and improving intent recognition by curating the appropriate training data sets
• 3+ years applying Conversational AI best practices (e.g., NLP and training data best practices)
• 1+ years of experience in CICD, Git, unit testing and source code management
• 1+ years of knowledge of cloud development and deployment principles
• 1+ years Backend (server side) development experience either in Java, node.js or Python
• 1+ years of working in an Agile environment, with knowledge in DevOps approaches, end-to-end software development process and business requirements
