Expedient Technology Solutions in Dayton, OH seeks an experienced Software Developer/Systems Analyst to work on IBM i (AS/400) projects from inception to completion. You will modernize legacy RPG applications to web-based interfaces using ProFound UI and collaborate with business users to define requirements, designs, and implementation plans.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentoring, and delivering reliable enterprise solutions within a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
Experience as Software Developer or Systems Analyst or similar role accepted, 40 hrs per week.
Foreign credentials are accepted.

Responsibilities

Work on IBM i projects from inception to end using RPG/400 & IBM i technologies.
Modernize IBM i applications and convert traditional RPG apps to web-based UIs using ProFound UI.
Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, and design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams through design and code reviews.
Support unit, integration, and system testing to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
