Job summary

Dataflix is hiring an IBM i developer to design, build, and support applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform. You will work with RPG (RPG III/IV, RPGLE, Free-Format RPG), CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i utilities to modernize legacy systems and enable new integrations.

The role focuses on developing, modifying, and maintaining AS400/IBM i applications, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IBM i development experience.
• Strong proficiency in RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400 and embedded SQL.
• Experience with application support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with modernization tools and web-based integrations is a plus.

Overview

The Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform. They work primarily with RPG (RPG III/IV, RPGLE, Free-Format RPG), CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i system utilities to build and enhance business-critical applications.
