Position Details

• Salary: $15.00/hr
• Type: Full Time Regular, Non-Exempt

Primary Responsibilities

The Custodian I performs custodial services including cleaning, maintenance, and setup for events following established procedures. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, carpets, furnishings, restrooms, windows, and other surfaces; moving furniture; preparing spaces for events; responding to emergencies; and ensuring safety and security of facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of 10th grade or equivalent; significant custodial experience may substitute.
• At least one year of custodial experience.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally; capable of prolonged walking, standing, bending, and reaching.

Additional Information

Employment requires a criminal background check. The position may involve exposure to hazardous chemicals and outdoor weather conditions. Some positions are designated as essential and require reporting during severe weather closures.
