This position involves performing custodial services across university facilities, including cleaning, maintenance, setup for events, and emergency response. The role is full-time, non-exempt, and available only to current, regular, full-time Missouri State University employees represented by the IBEW.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Performing cleaning and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors, cleaning furnishings, and maintaining restrooms.
2. Preparing spaces for events by moving furniture and setting up equipment.
3. Responding to emergency situations like water leaks, flooding, or broken windows.
4. Maintaining safety and security by inspecting facilities and reporting damages.
5. Using cleaning chemicals safely and properly, including wearing protective gear.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of 10th grade; relevant custodial experience may substitute.
• At least one year of custodial experience with knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally, with physical mobility to perform tasks indoors and outdoors.

Additional Details:

• Salary: $15.00/hour
• Work Schedule: First Shift, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Friday – Tuesday
• Position is only available to current Missouri State University employees represented by IBEW.
