CBSL Transportation Services Inc. is seeking an IBC Technician to clean tanks and related equipment at our Pasadena, TX location. You will prepare cleaning orders, ensure accuracy, and maintain test certificates as required.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to pass a respirator fit test, and the capacity to work in varying weather conditions. Pre-employment screening and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Tank cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and wear respirator.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs overhead and stand/walk frequently.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean all equipment, tanks, and peripheral equipment.
• Ensure cleaning orders are completed and signed.
• Process incoming units and verify paperwork for departures.
• Prepare test certificates for cleans.

Duties include (but not limited to):

Responsible for cleaning all equipment ensuring that all tanks and peripheral equipment are cleaned. Responsible for the proper cleaning of tote/containers exteriors, external valves, pressure relief valves, vacuum relieve valves, valve area and caps. Checking in units to our facility according to company procedures and making sure that BOL’s are done properly for all orders departing. Ensure that each cleaning order is completed correctly and that each cleaning order is signed by the cleaner performing that clean (includes cleaning and test certs).

Job Requirements Include:

• Tank Cleaning Experience Desired
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and wear as normal duties.(Clean Shave)
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Overhead
• Position requires frequent standing, bending and walking
• Must be able to withstand weather conditions
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
