Job summary

CBSL Transportation Services, Inc. is seeking an IBC Technician to clean equipment and associated components. You will confirm that totes and containers are cleaned, complete required relief valve checks, and ensure that proper documentation (BOLs) accompanies each outbound order.

Respondents must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a respirator fit test, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in varied weather conditions. Background check and pre-employment drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Tank cleaning experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate and clean offloading equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean all equipment, ensuring tanks and peripheral equipment are cleaned.
• Clean tote/containers exteriors, external valves, pressure relief valves, and valve area.
• Check in units to the facility and ensure BOLs are prepared for each order leaving.
• Ensure each cleaning order is completed correctly and signed by the cleaner performing the task.

Duties include (but not limited to):

Responsible for cleaning all equipment ensuring that all tanks and peripheral equipment are cleaned. Responsible for the proper cleaning of tote/ containers exteriors, external valves, pressure relief valves, vacuum relieve valves, valve area and caps. Checking in units to our facility according to company procedures and making sure that BOL’s are done properly for all orders departing. Ensure that each cleaning order is completed correctly and that each cleaning order is signed by the cleaner performing that clean (includes cleaning and test certs).

Job Requirements Include:

• Tank Cleaning Experience Desired
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and wear as normal duties.(Clean Shave)
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Overhead
• Position requires frequent standing, bending and walking
• Must be able to withstand weather conditions
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
