Pine Street School is seeking a flexible, energetic educator to cover a parental leave from December 2026 through June 2027. The Temporary Spanish/Physical Education Teacher will teach PE (Grades 4-8) and Spanish (Grades 6-8) aligned with the IB program (PYP and MYP).

Ideal candidates have a degree in PE/Spanish, at least two years of teaching experience, and fluency in English and Spanish. This role offers an opportunity to integrate into an established IB program and support student learning

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Education, Spanish, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience teaching Physical Education and/or Spanish.
• Full professional fluency in Spanish and fluency in English.
• Experience with IB Programme or language immersion is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver PE instruction for Grades 4-8 emphasizing inquiry, skill development, and wellness.
• Deliver Spanish instruction to Grades 6-8 using Spanish as the language of instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs and learning styles.
• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure smooth transition during the leave period.
