Job summary

MPI seeks a Quality Management System Specialist to support the IATF 16949 QMS across multiple US facilities. You will manage customer claims, maintain compliance with automotive standards, and drive documentation control and records management.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, plus hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and SPC. Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of IATF 16949 requirements and quality management principles.
• Experience with core automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC).
• Experience with internal, customer and third-party quality audits.
• Excellent analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing development, maintenance, and improvement of the IATF 16949 QMS.
• Manage customer claims activities across business units with timely investigation.
• Maintain compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
• Assist with document control, procedure updates, and records management.
• Contribute to management reviews and prepare quality performance reports.
• Plan and conduct internal process, product, and system audits.
• Support audits by customers and third parties, including preparation and follow-up.
• Monitor CAPAs to ensure effective implementation and sustained results.
• Ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements and automotive standards.
