Job summary

Grote Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator for the Madison, IN site to lead the IATF 16949 QMS and maintain certification.

You will own internal/external audits, the Layered Process Audit program, and KPI reporting, partnering with process owners, operations, and engineering to drive improvements that enhance customer satisfaction. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–4 years' QMS experience in automotive manufacturing, plus IATF internal audit

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field required.
2–4 years QMS experience in an IATF 16949 automotive or heavy-truck manufacturing environment.
IATF 16949 internal auditor certification or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.
Proficiency with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, LPA) and document control.

Responsibilities

Maintain and continually improve the Madison site's IATF 16949 QMS and certification.
Own internal and external audits, Layered Process Audit (LPA) program, and KPI reporting.
Address audit findings and nonconformances; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
Provide QMS training and maintain training/competency records.
Collaborate with process owners, operations, engineering, and plant leadership to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
