Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking an experienced Identity Lead to design, implement, and govern enterprise IAM. You will partner with security, infrastructure, HR, engineering, and business teams to build a scalable identity ecosystem that delivers secure, seamless access experiences across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7-12+ years of IT/Cybersecurity experience in an enterprise Identity Management environment.
• Deep expertise in IAM frameworks, Zero Trust, and modern identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM).
• Experience with enterprise scale IAM platforms, On Premise, and Cloud Platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud identity (Azure AD/Entra, AWS IAM, GCP IAM, SaaS and API).
• Knowledge of security architecture, threat modeling, and identity attack vectors.
• Experience with Active Directory and Entra processes/tools including patching, hardening, configuration, risk management.
• Demonstrated communication skills to persuade, influence, and handle challenging conversations.
• Knowledge of Identity management processes/tools including Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, Dell OneIdentity, Semperis, CyberArk, SAP, Salesforce and Workday.
• Demonstrated knowledge of recent IAM technology advances.

Responsibilities

• Develop IAM strategy, roadmap, and governance model with cross-team accountability.
• Architect and oversee security, authentication, authorization, and privileged access controls (SSO, MFA, API access).
• Lead modernization efforts: Zero Trust, passwordless, identity automation, AI-driven threat detection.
• Define API security standards and token management for least privilege access.
• Establish patterns for API authentication (OAuth, OIDC) and token lifecycle management.
• Lead PAM design and operation (CyberArk).
• Ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and schedule with reliability.
• Lead a technical team for user provisioning across SaaS and on-prem apps (Dell OneIdentity, Salesforce, SAP, Workday).
• Perform regular audits and ensure privacy/regulatory compliance.
• Establish security metrics aligned to business objectives.
• Document IAM processes for scalability.
• Escalate and resolve issues with urgency.
