Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Cyber Defense Engineer III to advance cloud security, IAM, and infrastructure protection across enterprise systems in a fast-paced environment.

You will implement DevSecOps practices, security tooling, and disaster recovery engineering, while guiding code quality and adherence to development standards. This role requires 5–8 years of related experience and a BS in CS or a related field; strong problem solving and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Designs and constructs moderately complex interfaces between ERP and legacy systems.
• Provides production support of moderately complex applications in production by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, developing and testing fixes, and migrating solutions.
• Uses back-end programming languages, as well as front-end script languages to optimize performance, scalability, and security.
• Codes programming logic for new or existing solutions following design specifications.
• Handles installation, configuration, development, workflow design, monitoring, and/or upgrade of assigned software products.
• Maintains up-to-date records of issues with existing code.
• Develops and maintains applications for business processes and systems.
• Ensures adherence to development best practices and standards within their group.

SUMMARY:Under limited supervision the Cyber Defense Engineer III will work across cloud security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), infrastructure protection, cyber recovery, Disaster Recovery (DR) engineering, application security, DevSecOps, security tooling and automation, and data loss prevention.
