Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Sr Software Engineer of Identity and Access Management to lead the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise IAM technologies. You will serve as a SME in identity services, RBAC, PKI, MFA, SSO, and related standards, collaborating with Engineering, Compliance, IT, and HR to minimize security risks.

The role requires hands-on development, fast-paced delivery, and a focus on secure, scalable identity solutions across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant IAM experience.
• Design, build and deploy software solutions in IAM domain.
• Experience with SailPoint, BeyondTrust, Ping Identity, Okta, Azure AD, or similar.
• Knowledge of PKI, SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and IAM standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute inputs to strategy for enterprise IAM program.
• Architect, build, test, deploy, and monitor IAM systems.
• Assess requirements for IAM solutions to meet stakeholder needs.
• Develop processes, policies, and standards reflecting security best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, IT, HR on IAM initiatives.

Sr Software Engineer of Identity and Access Management will be responsible for designing, engineering, implementation of all IAM technologies across enterprise. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in identity management and authentication technologies. The individual must be a motivated team player with a positive attitude, solid interpersonal skills. The individual must be hands-on, work under minimal supervision and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As Sr Software Engineer, you will have strong knowledge of identity services, RBAC, PIM/PAM, MFA, SSO & related standards (e.g. SAML, OAUTH, NTLM, LDAP, Kerberos, PKI, etc.) and you have experience of IAM products like SailPoint, BeyondTrust, OKTA, Azure AD, Active Directory.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Contribute key inputs to the strategy MGMRI will follow to achieve a robust and leading identity management program
• Architect, build, test, deploy, and monitor MGMRI's IAM systems and beyond
• Assessing requirements for Identity and Access Management solutions to meet stakeholders needs
• Help build technical and non-technical processes, policies, and standards that reflect security best practices and minimizes MGMRI's security risks
• Build and maintain mutual trust with key stakeholders in the company, such as Engineering, Compliance, IT, HR
• Act as a key technical resource in the IAM space for the organization

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Required
• 5+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Required
• Design, build and deployment of software solutions, identity and access management domain
• Experience in working with industry leading IAM vendor products like SailPoint, BeyondTrust, Ping Identity, Azure AD, Okta etc
• Industry experience in the identity and access management domain
• Experience with one or more IAM tools -Sailpoint, BeyondTrust, Ping Identity, Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, or others
• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate authentication
• Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Web Development is a plus
• Experience in working with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible in CI/CD pipeline
• Industry standard certifications like CISM, CISSP,CCSP etc
• Experience with standard authentication protocols and frameworks such as SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC
• Experience in integrating applications with SSO solution both internally and with third party applications
• Experience integrating and deploying Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to web-based and mobile applications for authentication and authorization
