Job summary

Amazon seeks a Software Development Engineer for Identity & Access Management (IAM) to build and support authentication/authorization products. You will process large data sources and leverage GenAI to derive access patterns, presenting them through a consolidated product layer.

The role centers on strengthening security posture and enabling trusted access across Amazon and its subsidiaries. You will work in an agile team, driving design reviews, implementing features, and mentoring peers to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience on large systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, implementation and deployment of tools for access risk lifecycle management.
• Iterate and deploy features with an emphasis on quality and reliability.
• Collaborate in an agile environment, participate in code reviews and testing.
• Develop testing frameworks and improve CI/CD processes.
• Build reusable code patterns, APIs, libraries and SDKs.
• Lead design reviews and mentor other engineers.
