Job summary

Jobtailor in Austin, TX is seeking a seasoned IAM Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy comprehensive IAM solutions spanning authentication, authorization, and accounting. You will leverage Cloudflare to secure identities and develop robust SSO using SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and SCIM.

You'll manage Identity Governance and Administration platforms, automate RBAC/ABAC, and spearhead access certifications while supporting IAM operations with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge in several IAM/security areas.
• Strong understanding of identity federation, including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience implementing Identity Governance and Administration solutions, including lifecycle management, SCIM, RBAC, ABAC, and access certifications.
• Hands-on engineering experience building production-grade automation scripts and tools.
• Hands-on engineering experience leveraging AI/LLMs to solve operational or technical challenges.
• Experience with secure configuration of containerized application platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Advanced scripting experience with Python, TypeScript, Bash, or similar.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust controls.
• Experience integrating with applications and SaaS solutions.
• Experience applying and enforcing IAM policies.
• Experience with Identity Threat Detection & Response (ITDR).
• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, potentially including after-hours calls.
• Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export laws without sponsorship for an export license may be required
