Job summary

Jobtailor in Arizona is seeking an IAM Operations Analyst to analyze processes, data, and controls, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement within Identity and Access Management.

You will support provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and remediation across teams, while collaborating with risk, product, and technology partners to drive compliant, efficient IAM operations.

Strong attention to detail and experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Microsoft Entra ID are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience.
• 3+ years of identity and access management experience in provisioning, de-provisioning, certification, authorisation, or authentication.
• Experience working in technology operations, information security, business controls, risk management, or financial services operations.
• Familiarity with IAM concepts including user access, provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, role-based access control, privileged access, or identity lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting audits, control walkthroughs, issue remediation, or evidence collection.

Job description

• Support IAM Operations initiatives by analysing processes, data, controls, and workflows to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
• Assist with access management, identity lifecycle activities, access reviews, and issue remediation
• Develop and maintain process documentation, procedures, reporting, and operational artifacts
• Partner with business, technology, risk, and product teams to gather requirements, track progress, and support IAM enhancements
• Analyse metrics and operational data to identify trends, monitor performance, and provide decision‑making insights
• Support control activities including evidence gathering, walkthrough support, issue tracking, and remediation follow‑up
• Coordinate IAM‑related projects, pilots, and process improvement efforts while documenting milestones, risks, and dependencies
• Support automation and workflow improvements by identifying manual processes, pain points, and efficiency gains
• Escalate operational issues, risks, delays, and blockers to leadership with facts, impact, and recommended next steps
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings and working sessions representing IAM Operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement focused on operational effectiveness, control maturity, customer experience, and risk reduction

Requirements

• 4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years of identity and access management experience in provisioning, de‑provisioning, certification, authorisation, or authentication
• Experience working in technology operations, information security, business controls, risk management, or financial services operations
• Familiarity with IAM concepts including user access, provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, role‑based access control, privileged access, or identity lifecycle management
• Experience supporting audits, control walkthroughs, issue remediation, or evidence collection
• Ability to identify operational pain points and recommend practical, scalable improvements
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and follow‑through
• Experience with tools or platforms such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, Saviynt, CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, or similar technologies
• Familiarity with ISO, NIST, SOX, or PCI security compliance frameworks
• Ability to interact with various layers of leadership
• Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and achieve deliverables
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and prioritising skills
• Customer service focus with timely responses to requests
• Knowledge and understanding of business requirements; ability to gather and translate them into technical requirements
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project
• Experience and understanding of application security architecture
