Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior IAM leader to own strategy, architecture, and operation of enterprise IAM platforms. You will mentor engineers, define roadmaps, and drive Zero Trust and cloud identity modernization across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role requires 8+ years in IAM/cybersecurity with 3+ years of people leadership, strong AD/RACF experience, and familiarity with Agentic AI-enabled controls. A CISSP/CISM/CCSP/CIAM preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure Engineering.
3+ years of people leadership experience managing technical teams.
Deep understanding of IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, federation, identity governance, and privileged access management.
Strong understanding of cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Experience with Active Directory and RACF.
Experience leading large-scale IAM transformations and modernization initiatives.
Experience with DevSecOps, API security, and identity automation.
Experience implementing Zero Trust security architectures.
Knowledge of SOX, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
CISSP, CISM, CIAM, CCSP, or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, architecture, delivery, and operation of enterprise IAM platforms and services.
Lead, mentor, and develop IAM engineers and technical specialists.
Establish goals, performance expectations, and career development plans.
Recruit, retain, and develop IAM engineering talent.
Define and execute the enterprise IAM roadmap, including transforming IAM controls and processes using Agentic AI.
Drive Zero Trust, adaptive access controls, and cloud identity modernization initiatives.
Establish IAM reference architectures and engineering best practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends.
Oversee design, implementation, and support of IGA, Directory Services, API, and agentic identity management platforms.
Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, compliant, and leverage Agentic AI technology.
Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Partner with Cybersecurity teams on identity controls and access governance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
Lead remediation of identity-related audit findings and security risks.
Support incident response and investigations involving authentication or access control issues.
Collaborate with executive leadership, security teams, application owners, and business stakeholders.
Communicate IAM strategy, risks, metrics, and program progress to senior management.
Influence enterprise-wide adoption of identity standards and best practices.
