Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Business Analyst for Identity & Access Management Risk & Audit to strengthen governance, risk, and compliance programs. You will partner with IAM engineering, risk, and audit teams to improve control monitoring and audit readiness.

You will develop dashboards, KPIs, and recurring reports, and help drive process improvements across IGA, PAM, access controls, and directory services. Strong communication and data skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, IT, CS or related field.
3-7 years in Cyber Security, IAM, risk, audit, or compliance.
Understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts and practices.
Experience with control frameworks, audit activities, or compliance processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce meaningful reporting.

Responsibilities

Audit & Compliance: support IAM-related audits, gather and deliver evidence on schedule.
Risk & Control: monitor IAM controls, identify gaps, track remediation to closure.
Reporting & Data Analysis: develop IAM risk, audit dashboards and metrics.
Process Improvement: automate manual reporting and standardize procedures.
Collaboration: work with IAM engineers, risk teams, auditors, and stakeholders.
