Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking an IAM Engineer to collaborate with business and IT partners and external vendors to deliver Identity Governance and Administration capabilities across the organization. The role covers RBAC, ABAC, access reviews, automated provisioning/deprovisioning, and access requests.

The position emphasizes cross-functional design, testing, and documentation for enterprise IAM services, with focus on security, reliability and compliance in a large financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience.
• Basic UNIX security knowledge related to user access and provisioning.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC concepts/tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test IAM systems and solutions.
• Protect information resources against unauthorized access and loss.
• Analyze data to ensure timely project delivery.
• Maintain, patch, operate and monitor IAM systems.
• Troubleshoot incidents and changes; support IAM operations.
• Create documentation and architecture diagrams for IAM components.
• Communicate project status and feasibility with teams.
• Ensure compliance with risk, cybersecurity practices and change management.
