Job summary

Tempus is seeking an IAM Engineer to fortify authentication and authorization across our cloud and on-prem environments. You will design and maintain IAM solutions with Okta and workflows, identify risks, and promote security best practices across IT and business teams.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on Terraform and GitHub experience, plus deep knowledge of IAM frameworks (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, REST, SCIM).

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in IT Security and at least 2 years IAM Engineering.
Extensive experience with OKTA and OKTA Workflows.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and GitHub.
Strong understanding of IAM principles, frameworks, and technologies including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SOAP, REST, and SCIM.

Responsibilities

Practical experience with authentication and authorization protocols.
Design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions including OKTA and OKTA Workflows.
Identify, assess, and mitigate IAM-related security risks.
Understand best practices for authentication/authorization in data-rich environments.
Collaborate with IT and other units to promote IAM awareness and integrate IAM best practices.
