Job summary

Vercel Inc. is seeking a Security Software Engineer to own the Identity and Access Management strategy across corporate and production environments.

You will define IAM architecture, migrate Okta to Terraform, and serve as the SME for IAM best practices. You will own the full IAM strategy end to end, including roadmap, standards, and architecture, and drive infrastructure-as-code adoption by migrating Okta configuration to Terraform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in identity, access management, or platform security engineering.
• Deep expertise with Okta, Terraform, and IAM at scale.
• Strong collaborator who operates with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Own the full IAM strategy end to end, including roadmap, standards, and architecture.
• Migrate Okta and related IAM configuration to Terraform, driving infrastructure-as-code adoption.
• Partner with engineering and IT to embed least-privilege access controls and build MDM/MAM solutions.
